A very small number of customers use excessive storage and data transfer from websites that are hosted with us, which constantly send and receives data, throughout the day. This type of activity uses a lot of bandwidth and can significantly increase the cost our Hosting Services as we pay for all storage and bandwidth usage. Approximately 1% of customers use more than 30% of the available bandwidth during the day.

Our fair usage policy automatically identifies the very small number of extremely heavy customers and charges are applied directly to the customer.

Excessive data usage is charged at £1 per 100MB for data storage and £1 per 1GB for data transfer.
